Email Message Concerning Dog food at Convention

             Even if you do not take advantage of this arrangement, 
if you happen to patronize Publix Supermarket while at convention, 
please let them know how much we appreciate their cooperation! Publix 
Supermarket is located across the street from the Rosen Shingle Creek.

             The National Association of Guide dog Users has made 
arrangements with Publix Supermarket to deliver dog food to the 
hotels hosting the NFB convention. Please note that this special 
arrangement is only for dog food and no other items. Furthermore, 
only dog food normally carried by Publix Supermarkets will be 
available. You must order your dog food by 10:00 am on Friday, July 1 
and pre-pay using a MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover 
credit card. The dog food will be delivered to the hotels around 3:00 
pm on Saturday, July 2 and must be picked up at your respective 
hotel's bell stand no later than Monday, July 4 at 12:00 noon. Any 
product not retrieved by the deadline will be disposed of. This 
service is being provided free of charge as a convenience. The Rosen 
hotels, NAGDU, NFB, or Publix Supermarkets are not responsible for 
product not claimed by the deadline.
             To order your dog food, please call Publix Supermarket 
at 407-996-8400 and ask for Jennifer, Amanda, or Scot. Please have 
the following information ready when you call:

    * The exact brand, name, & size of the food;
    * Your name and hotel site
    * Your credit card number, expiration date, and Card Verification 
Number (CVN).

Registration; 7:00 pm. Meeting begins. Updates on Division 
initiatives, including the Information and Advocacy Hotline, legal 
cases, affiliate division reports, elections, and guide dog training 
program reports.

SEMINAR; 6:00 pm. -Registration; 7:00 pm. -Seminar begins Panzacola 
H-3 Ballroom, Level 1. The blind traveler: Your Guide Dog and 
In-flight Emergency Procedures, presenter is Peg Slater, a flight 
attendant trainer;
Screening Blind Passengers, presenter is Jeremy Buzzell, Senior 
Policy Advisor for the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) 
Office of Disability Policy and Outreach.
Also, test-drive a guide dog!
