[gui-talk] JAWS sluggish startup

Personally, I do not share any of my computers with anybody else. It sounds like the remote jaws copy that allows login screens to be spoken is not fully exiting when you were running with other users. My best guess of a quick solution would be to run NVDA at the login prompt and JAWS after login.

Best wishes,

When another user has logged out of the computer without re-starting it, if I attempt to log into the administrator account or my personal account, JAWS may take up to 10 minutes before it starts speaking. JAWS will speak the log in prompt. Once I put in the username and password JAWS can take up to 10 minutes before it runs. If I try to run JAWS manually after my log in I will eventually end up with several instances of JAWS speaking at the same time and eventually have some kind of JAWS crash.

The only solution I've found thus far is that if the computer is already running I go directly from the log in screen to Shutdown options and then hit restart. Then I can log into either my personal or administrative account and JAWS will start up promptly after log in.
