[gui-talk] problems with my new Braille note

I don't use a Braille Note, but both those behaviors sound normal to 
me.  It will take some time to reset, nothing is instant, and you 
loose the date and time with most devices, with a reset.  It is a 
reset after all, it is putting things back to a default state.
