[gui-talk] would like some help after disconnecting from cable TV

The problem with these proprietary boxes is that they cannot receive most 
cable stations and certainly no over-the-air stations.  And except for the 
Apple TV box, they are not accessible.  And while the apple box may itself 
be accessible thanks to built-in Voice Over, most of the streaming video 
does not have described audio, so as far as I'm concerned, it's a big fat 
waste of money.  I'm mostly interested in news and information, and none of 
these boxes lets you stream the dozens of news, educational and 
informational channels available on cable.
