The following message was sent in response to a question about recording
streaming audio on the Internet. Tapin Radio also works well with
Window-Eyes as long as you have the QT Support script for Window-eyes
installed. -Steve.

Hi,

A better and more ellegant solution would be installing some brainy
software in case you want to record streams. Try Tapin-radio http://www.tapinradio.com/

you can choose between installer and portable.

* Plenty of stations to choose from
* Supports most of the internet radio formats - mp3, wma, ogg vorbis, aac+ even FLAC and so on (try D-dur streaming in FLAC)
* Quick and reliable search by stations title, networks, genres and regions
* Smooth switching between stations
* Record what you are listening to - including separate song files or you can constantly set a splittime for tracks
* ID3tags handling, e.g. Gotradio.com network will fill out title, artist, album, track number, year of song release and genre to the ID3 tag fields
* Automatic checking for software and stations
* Runs on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
* Show your favorites in groups
* Sleep timer to shutdown TapinRadio or even your computer!
* Scheduled recording in its folder AlarmTR.exe
* Or alarm setting also AlarmTR.exe

All completely free, works like a charm with NVDA. It has all the BBC channels and much much more. Recording is made by just hitting a button.

S pozdravem/Kind regards
