[gui-talk] where is the support or help on NVDA's site?

Hi list members.  I just downloaded a fresh copy of the NVDA screen  
reader, and Something is preventing it from starting.  I hear the NVDA  Start 
sound, but almost immediately I hear a windows error sound and then the  NVDA 
shut down sound.  Whatever it is blocking it any message on the screen  is 
coming and going to fast.  Does anyone know what might be happening in  windows 
that blocks NVDA from starting?  Also I went to properties and the  windows 
shows Hot Key as None, when clearly Alt Plus control plus N, is a  default. 
 I can't enter that command because NVDA is trying to start.   any thoughts 
on why windows shows no hot key when there is a default already  there?
