Note:
My experience with Verizon is that they do not activate non-Verizon
devices.  I took a Sprint phone in and they won't do it.  The HTC
PPC-6800 is a Sprint phone, same as Verizon but they won't do it.  It
could be activated on Sprint however.  Also, as a Verizon
XV-6800/mobiespeak user, the phone is only marginally good on the web,
but works pretty well as a portable gmail client.  Voice calls suck on
it however.
