Meaningful employment offers confidence, purpose and financial
security. Join us on Friday morning as we discuss the foundations,
techniques and attitudes that lead to successful employment and
fulfilling careers. Learn about the importance of good blindness
skills and self-advocacy. Consider the benefits of owning your own
business and how that is possible through the BEP. Educate yourself
regarding successful resumes, their key words and how to get them in
front of the right people. Hear from other blind professionals who
will share their experiences, hurdles and how they overcame them.
Participate in mock interviews and receive immediate feedback so you
can ace your next interview! Bring your resumes with you to have them
critiqued !
