I don't think there is any master plan going on here.  I think that 
people, when they prepare their messages, aren't as diligent as they 
could be.  I circulated two yesterday, and immediately afterwards, 
both contacted me saying they had left the day of the week out and 
could I resend.

People get in a hurry, or don't proof adequately etc.
