Research Participation Request: Survey: Bringing Freedom to Daily Travel
The below research participant solicitation is being provided for
informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no
involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our
research mission.
Research Title: Survey: Bringing Freedom to Daily Travel
Being conducted by: LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired San
Francisco together with Qibus
Purpose of the Study
This study seeks to understand the transportation needs and preferences of
blind and low-vision individuals regarding the use of remote driving
technology. The goal is to gather feedback on the potential adoption and
utility of this technology to ensure it is tailored to empower independence,
convenience, and accessibility for the community.
Role of the Participants and Anticipated Length of the Study
Participants will complete a brief online survey consisting of questions
about their current transportation habits, challenges, and interest in
adopting remote driving technology. The survey will take approximately 5-10
minutes to complete.
Proposed Participant Compensation
Yes, Participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $50
Amazon gift card as a token of appreciation for their time and input.
