The growth of the NFB can be measured in a number of ways. We have increased membership in our local chapters and affiliates. We continue to have significant victories in policy implementation and partnership development. Yet, the core of who we are as an organization is something else that is not easily measured... <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=11441&qid=2277035> more from the President

We can compare 730 in attendance at the banquet in Des Moines to our expected 2800+ for 2018... <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=11442&qid=2277035> more from the history book

We have been asking longtime members of the National Federation of the Blind to reflect on how much things have changed over the years. It is sometimes easy to forget just how far we have come ... <https://nfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=11443&qid=2277035> more from our members

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines blind people or their future. Every day we raise the expectations of and for blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. We can live the lives we want; blindness is not what holds us back. Please join us in our work by becoming a member, attending an event, sharing this newsletter, or supporting our programs.
