Hello Fellow Federationists

 

I hope each of you are getting ready for a fantastic convention! I hope to see many of you at the annual Communication Committee meeting. We will be taking a closer look at the code of conduct and what it means for us as Federationists and the way we communicate. We will also be delving into the Communications Toolbox. This is a great resource that holds many useful pieces to make our internal and external communication easier. If you work on communications for your affiliate and would like a link to the communications toolbox please email me at jbbeecham at gmail.com. We discuss the affiliate website template as well as where we are with the membership database. We will also take a look at some of the best practices in communication from our affiliates. We will explore the Braille monitor as a phenomenal communications tool and most importantly, we will delve into how the communications committee can help your affiliate. The agenda is pasted below and in an attachment.

 

I hope to see at least one member from each affiliate so that we can share ideas and best practices.
