[Nfbnet-members-list] New List in Virginia

I am pleased to be able to announce a new list on NFBNET.ORG. It is 
an announce-only list for the Greater Alexandria Virginia Chapter. 
Here is the description, and subscription information.


The purpose of this list is to provide timely updates , information, 
and news items
to the members of the Greater Alexandria Chapter of the National 
Federation of the Blind of Virginia
regarding activities of the chapter, the state affiliate, national 
organization, and the Alexandria community.
Non-members of the chapter are welcome to join. The list is announce-only.
The purpose of the Greater Alexandria Chapter of the National 
Federation of the Blind of Virginia is to advance the general welfare 
of the blind of Alexandria
and its neighboring communities, of the state of  Virginia, and of 
the nation; to serve as a vehicle for collective action by the blind 
of the Alexandria area;
and to operate as a mechanism through which the blind and interested 
sighted persons can come together to plan and carry out programs to 
improve the quality of life of the blind.
