Good afternoon fellow Federationists:

For those of you who have a hearing loss and need an assistive listening
device to more fully hear the general sessions, board of directors meeting,
or the Deaf-Blind division seminar and business meeting at convention, or
who would prefer to listen to the general sessions with simultaneous
translation in Spanish, please make sure to stop by the Amateur Radio
Division's FM Table located outside the Sebastian ballroom. We will have
small receivers that can be checked out for a $40 refundable cash deposit.
Members of the division will be available to distribute receivers during the
following times:

Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 at the Deaf-Blind division's seminar;

Wednesday from 8:30-11:45 for the board meeting;

Thursday from 8:30 to 12:00 and 1:30 until just after close of general
session;

Friday from 8:30 to 12:00 and 1:30 until just after close of general
session; and

Saturday from 8:30 to 12:00 and 1:30 until just after close of general
session as well as immediately following the banquet.

When you check out a receiver, we will collect some information (including
when you plan to return the receiver) and collect your $40 deposit. Your
deposit will be returned when the assistive listening device is. All
receivers are due back to the FM table thirty minutes after the banquet
ajurns.

For those who use T-coils, the headphone connector on the receiver will
accept a standard 3.5mm (1/8 inch) headphone plug which should allow you to
connect a neck loop.

For anyone who may have their own FM receiver, if it is capable of receiving
72-76 MHz signals you should be able to find the channels we are using. If
you have any difficulty, please stop by the table and we will make our best
effort to assist.

Please don't hesitate to reach out should you have questions.

Have a wonderful convention.

Regards,

Rachel Olivero, president

National Federation of the Blind Amateur Radio Division
