The Louisiana Center for the Blind is pleased to announce our 2013
summer programs for blind students. Our Buddy Program is open to
students in grades 4-8 and runs from July 14-August 3. Our Summer
Training and Employment Project (STEP) Program runs from June
2-August 3 and is open to students entering the 10th, 11th, or 12th
grades in the fall of 2013.

Please visit our website at
<http://www.lcb-ruston.com>www.lcb-ruston.com for additional details
and to apply for either program. If you would like hardcopy
brochures, have questions, or need additional information, please do
not hesitate to contact me at 800-245-4166 or by email at
<mailto:eguillory at lcb-ruston.com>eguillory at lcb-ruston.com.

Summer memories can last a lifetime, and the acquisition of better
skills results in increased independence for students of all ages. If
you or your student are interested in our programs, please contact
us. Our skills training, role modeling, and positive philosophy of
blindness have made a tremendous difference in the lives of kids and
families for more than 20 years. "Together, we are changing what it
means to be blind." Braille rocks! Canes rock!
