This summer in Dallas, the NFB Jernigan Institute 
will once again be sponsoring Youth Track 
activities. Below you will find the schedule for 
this year's Youth Track . Please note that 
locations for these events are not yet available. 
Also note that space for Tuesday night's activity 
is limited, so if your child wishes to 
participate you will need to contact Meleah 
Jensen at the Jernigan Institute to get the 
paperwork needed to reserve your spot. Meleah can

Saturday, June 30:
11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Balloon Build or Bust and what’s happening the rest of the week
(Students will be split into two groups for this 
activity­one made up of students ages 11-14 and 
the second of students ages 14-18)

Federation Pop Culture and Stars of the NFB Scavenger Hunt

3:00-3:45 p.m.
FederationBook­Look at the FederationBook page of 
one of our leaders and then make your own

3:45-4:30 p.m.
Tell the world what you want them to know about 
blindness­record your thoughts on video

Group Sessions­Ages 11-14
1:30-2:30 p.m.
Show the world what you want them to know about blindness­an art activity

2:30-3:30 p.m.
Tell the world what you want them to know about 
blindness­record your thoughts on video

3:30-4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, July 3
6:30-9:00 p.m.
Off-site dinner at Sal’s Pizza for both age 
groups­cost to attend is $20, which covers the 
cost of dinner and transportation.Each 
participant must have a signed release form 
before they can board the bus. Participation in 
this event is first-come-first-served as space is limited.
