Seeking Future Blind Leaders—Apply by May 31
The National Federation of the Blind is seeking the next generation of blind leaders for the 2026–2027 Kenneth Jernigan Leadership-In-Service Program (KJLSP)<https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=43108&qid=12593259>. This immersive and transformative program is designed for members committed to service, growth, and the work of building the organized blind movement.
Over the course of a year, participants will engage in in-person workshops, virtual learning, personalized mentorship, and hands-on leadership projects to strengthen advocacy skills, deepen their understanding of the movement, and build relationships with fellow leaders.
Interested applicants must:
* Be an active Federationist with a solid understanding of our philosophy.
* Have experience attending national and state conventions.
* Demonstrate a commitment to leadership or service.
* Commit to participating in virtual and in-person sessions.
* Complete assignments and provide feedback through surveys.
