Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a DAISY format eBook reader for Linux and Windows.

I still have some usuable vision and I don't use JAWS or NVDA (yet). I
can still see or read with the help of very large screens and
font/color settings.

I use bookshare.org to download the books I'd like to read. I mainly
try to download in epub format and I read teh books through Calibre for
Linux or Windows. I mainly use Linux for my daily driver.

I discovered there are a few books not available in epub format and I
see DAISY with or without pictures available.

I've not used a book reader that supports DAISY and I'm looking for
some suggestions for something free. A simple search is leading me
towards something called Thorium which is available for the three main
operating systems. I was wondering what anyone's feedback is on
Thorium or if there are any other suggestions.

I saw one search result that mentioned that DAISY is being replaced by
epub3. This kind of does not help me much since my book source
(bookshare.org) still has some books that aren't available in epub
format. I just thought I'd mention this if anyone suggests moving away
from DAISY.

Any help and feedback would be appreciated.
