Try delting the shortcut and recreating it.
If somehow an invalid character was in the shortcut that could be the
problem. Example: virus/spyware. Anything is possible.
If you have no problem with the new shortcut then problem solved.
Otherwise, Windows Update and ensure a full rebbot and not a hibernation.
If you use linux keep it up to date as well as docker desktop if you use
that.
Current World Political climate crazy stuff is flying around.

Hello
I recently started having a problem in Windows 11. When I open a shortcut on
the desktop for a file explorer folder, it opens explorer and briefly shows
the correct contents. But it quickly goes to the desktop folder within file
explorer.
Has anyone encountered this?
