I looked into this for my graduating class at the beginning of last year, when I was doing my internship at the Carroll center. I got a lot of push back, because people have taken these cert tests on other online platforms, for free, or at least not $7,500. This was almost 2 years ago, and the Apex program was very new. The other questions I was asked:

Was Apex really putting blind people in the high paying jobs they said they were, and were the numbers of successful job placements as high as they were touting? I would love to know what states have signed onto the program since then, and what the numbers look like now.

Subject: [NFBCS] NETWORK+ AND SECURITY+ EXAM

I am a former programmer looking for work at the moment. I am looking to do something different but still in IT. I have recently heard about novacoast and the apex program, which trains blind, disabled, and veterans to be network+ and security+ certified. Has anyone gone through this program? Are these good certs to have to get into a career of cybersecurity? The tuition is $7,500, with the possibility of rehab helping to cover at least some of it. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing as much as I possibly can. Thanks.
