Hello,
I received a lengthy document (approximately 240 pages in pdf. I opened it
in adobe and arrowed down through the document. As I was arrowing, I heard
the popping sound JAWS makes when in a fillable form. The document does not
have fillable form fields. Further, I did not get this behavior when
opening it in Microsoft Edge.
One other thing, the author of the document said she marked up the document
for accessibility purposes based on what is on the web However, when opening
in Word I can see headings and links but don't see as many in Adobe.
I have been trying to figure out what accounts for this behavior. I am
trying to stay in Adobe because the document has tables with numbers and the
tables don't keep their formatting when in Word.
I am running Windows 11 and the latest version of JAWS 2023.
I had also opened the document in the latest version of JAWS 2022 under
Windows 11 and noticed the same behavior.
