[GUI-Talk] slow internet speed

What do you call "slow" Internet speed?  My Spectrum download speed is
advertised as 200 mbps, but using Fast.com, it actually measures about
80 mbps, which is still fast enough for my purposes.  Unfortunately,
there probably isn't much you can do if your download speed is at least
60 mbps because Spectrum will give you a run around that your download
speed test is not as accurate as theirs, which is always much higher
because they use some kind of proprietary measuring technique that they
will not disclose. And because they are an absolute monopoly in almost
every market they serve, you're basically stuck with them. You could
call their customer service number and demand to speak to a customer
retention specialist and threaten to cancel your service unless they
either increase your Internet speed or else reduce your monthly bill,
but good luck with that.  They will probably tell you that if you are
not satisfied with their service, go right ahead and cancel and have a
nice life without Internet access or cable TV.
