There are two ways. Control Shift n or Alt 2. Both seem to work on my
Windows 10 computer.

Alternatively, for folks who don't want the ribbon, you can unselect what is
highlighted and open the context menu to get the usual view, new, sort
options.

Cordially,

Subject: [gui-talk] Creating a new folder in windows

Hello all,

I am using Windows 10. Creating a new folder used to be found under alt-F,
then n for new. But I am not finding that in Windows 10. So, how do I create
a new folder?

And also, how do I have the mydocuments folder present in word when I do a
control-o. Right now, I am seeing a recents, and some other files. I'm using
Word 2016.

Thank you.
