[gui-talk] FW: Window-Eyes to JAWS Migration

Though I am no longer a windows user, I cannot help but imagine that users of Window-eyes must feel a very deep sense of betrayal today to have had this dropped on them. I also imagine that the folks over at GW Micro must also feel this betrayal. I can only imagine the deep sense of pain at the thought that a screen reader which one has used for years and years is now to be abandoned. OFficial reasons not withstanding, there is a human loyalty factor involved and this factor cannot nor should be taken lightly. I cannot help but wonder when the time will come when JAWS users will feel the same way. If BFO does not wise up and change their practices, developments will soon pass them by and we’ll see this al over again.

Sent from my Mac, The Only computer with full accessibility for the blind built-in

Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray,

Still a very happy Comcast XFinity Voice Guidance, Mac, Verizon Wireless iPhone7+ and Apple TV user!
