[gui-talk] JAWS sluggish startup

Jen,

I have unchecked the first option in the Start Jaws Options dialog which
is Start JAWS at the log on screen. Will see if this helps the issue of
getting JAWS to start up immediately after logging on to a given user
account on which the combo box was set to Always for Start JAWS after
logon for this user .

It's unfortunate if this is what must be done to avoid the sluggish
startup for JAWS once the log in is accomplished. The purpose of the
first option in the Start Jaws Options entitled Start JAWS at the log on
screen should ensure that speech is available at the log on screen. My
particular log on screen has six users. Windows doesn't allow for first
letter navigation of this screen. Therefore without speech you have to
first of all assume the log on screen has actually come up, then know
how many times to press right arrow and down arrow to get to the proper
user, hit space bar, and then type the password. There will be no way to
know if I've selected the wrong user or perhaps I had the correct user
but had caps lock on when typing the password?

Will be doing some further checking into why this isn't working as it
should.
