[gui-talk] moving to apple

As a long time Windows user with Window Eyes as my screen reader I 
wonder how difficult it is to move to Apple products  First issue is how 
much more a Apple laptop costs versus a Windows based system.  Is the 
voice over screen reader which comes with Apple products as robust as 
either Window Eyes or Jaws?
I can't see Window Eyes staying around after being purchased by the same 
group that owns JAWS.    .
