[gui-talk] JFW 17.01 question

Hi folks,

I updgraded to JFW 17.01 last weekend. Since then, JFW has been very 

chatty, I like to leave my email open and when I get a new message, JFW 

starts reading the message of its own accord. I don't want it to do 

this, I can hear the email notification when I want to read the message 

I'll do that at a time of my choosing. How do I shut JFW up so it won't
start reading emails until my fingers are on the keyboard?
