[gui-talk] Getting Position on Page in JAWS

Doug,

Thank you, ALT DEL works, but Window-Eyes and JAWS do not return the same
values for the very same position. JAWS is giving me a value that is the
equivalent of one line lower on the page than Window-Eyes. Since I have
been primarily a Window-Eyes user, I don't know if one it right and the
other wrong, but this is apparently not a value that is returned from the
DOM as I thought it was. Do you know anything about how this works in JAWS?

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

I believe that would be Alt+Del.

In Window-Eyes, there is a keystroke when in a Word document that gives the
current position of the cursor in terms of inches from the top and from the
left of the current page. In the distant past, Word used to display this on
its status line. Is there a keystroke that will give this information in
JAWS? I have not been able to find it but I am no kind of JAWS expert.

Best regards,
