At work I am using Windows XP with IE 8 and JAWS 14. I am beginning to
notice a loss of some functionality with some web sites, and am seeing
more and more a message telling me that I am using an outdated browser
and it is time to upgrade. If you are using XP, IE 8, and a version of
JAWS that is 3 versions behind, it is probably time to upgrade
everything, especially your OS because MS will soon be dropping all
support for Windows XP.

I doubt you need to change anything in IE. I note you're using JAWS 12
and IE 8. That's three versions behind the current one on JAWS and 2
behind the current one on IE. It may be that the web sites you're
frequenting may not work with IE 8. I've run into several of those when
I worked.

I just wouldn't worry about it; just write down the username and enter
when required.

I have e-mailed other lists and have only gotten one response. I am
using Jaws 12 and I.E. 8 with Windows XP. when a website I frequently go
to asks me if I want to remember my user name and password, I check yes,
but the setting does not hold. What parameters do I need to change in
I.E. to have my frequently visited websites remembered? I have looked
around on Google but have had no success. Any help would be very much
appreciated and thanks in advance.
