[gui-talk] Problem installing Google Drive

Hello all

 

If anyone knows how to solve this issue, please, please let me know. I have
installed the Google Drive Synch software and shared drive successfully on
my laptop, but no matter what I do, whenever I try to install it on my
desktop, I get the unhelpful message: "Unknown installer error". I have
tried to find a solution with Google, but all I find, are others who have
also experienced the problem and I can't seem to find any response. Does
anyone know what may be causing this?

 

Both my laptop and desktop are Windows 7 machines. My laptop is 64 bit and
my desktop is 32 bit, but I know that it is not the fact that this is a 32
bit machine that is causing the problem. It also does not help to run this
installer as Administrator.

 

I hope someone can help.
