[gui-talk] Adobe Flash

I was notified this morning that an update to Adobe Flash was available. I
checked using both JAWS 15 and the latest NVDA release and, other than a
button to indicate that I had read and agreed to the software licensing
agreement, I could find no checkboxes or other controls indicating that
special software was being installed. With trepidation, I hit the "Install"
button and the software installed without incident. I then used both JAWS
and NVDA to check for weird or special icons and could find none. I then
went to "Add or Remove Programs" and could find no unwanted toolbars or
browsers such as Google Chrome installed.

So unless some untoward behavior shows up during the next few days, it seems
to me that Adobe must have heard from a plethora of computer users that said
users had had enough and that they wanted a complete, clean Flash
update/installation.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Mike
