[gui-talk] Question On Networking

Your XP box is networked with your Win8 machine but Win7 and Win8 machines
have Home Group status's that the XP box does not.

You can put all you want in the Shared folder under My Computer on the XP
box and you will be able to see it from your Win8 machine but the reverse
will not work for your XP machine to see things on your Win8 box

Subject: [gui-talk] Question On Networking

I want to copy a few directories from my windows-xp machine to my windows8
box across a network using my router. Can this networking be done across
flavors of windows like this and would I just have to share the folders
involved? Any information would be appreciated.
