Andy,

I have not read all of the notes in this thread so perhaps I have missed this, but are you certain that 
you have the right version of FLASH with the right version of Internet Explorer and that you are running 
that version?  By "version," I mean 32-bit and 64-bit.  You likely have both versions on your machine.  
On my computer, the 64-bit version had 64-bit in the shortcut name but the 32-bit version did not have 
any indication.  In other words, if I ran Internet Explorer, by default I would be running the 32-bit 
version and I believe the version of FLASH has to go with the version of Inernet Explorer.  You might 
need both versions of FLASH, in other words.  Sorry if you've been there and done that.
