Hi, Ed,

I think I have the same version as you; however, I have been using 
Eudora since version 4 something and have never had trouble with 
attachments. I'm wondering if your problem would clear up if you 
simply reran the installation. You will have to go through your 
settings again, but you won't have to uninstll before running the 
installation. It will not erase the contents of your mailboxes. You 
could back your mailboxes and their tables of conts up though before 
you do that.
