[gui-talk] Seeking Opinion On Export PDF

Rob,

I do not have experience with that particular program, but I have heard others say that the professional
version of Acrobat does a pretty good job of this and apparently has some built-in OCR to deal with
scanned PDF's as well. Is this program less expensive than Acrobat and does it include the ability to
do OCR on scanned PDF's? If not, I would consider Nuance's PDF converter which comes with OmniPage but
is available separately for $99. I have had good luck with this program over the years. I tried to get
you a link to that product but it was so long that it would have been problematic. Do a google search
for nuance pdf converter and you will find it.

Please don't misunderstand, I am not saying that the Adobe product isn't good, it might be great, but it
makes sense to be sure it will cover all the bases. If you learn more, please share with the list.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
