At this time, this requirement seems perfectly reasonable, as the
technology is still in the testing phase.  Considering my experience
with computers, you don't want a system crash during rush hour on the
405 freeway.

I think the requirement is perfectly reasonable at this time and it
would be absolutely stupid to protest this. In fact, it could hurt us.
What we want is to be able to drive, not a self-driving vehicle.
