Andy,

You may find that some add-ins or plug-ins don't work with the 64-bit version, or at least that was the 
case for a time with IE 8.  This isn't necessarily bad, but if you are using 64-bit and something 
doesn't work right, you should be suspicious of the version of FLASH and other such software that are in 
use.  I think FLASH now works with 64-bit but at one point one had to use a FLASH beta.  In theory, the 
64-bit should be faster, but I don't know if that is the case or not.  It would be interesting to hear 
of any differences you notice.
