[gui-talk] skype accessible version?

Hello

I've been trying to use Skype version 5.3 with Jaws.0.525, but every time, after maybe ten to twenty seconds, I get the message that the program is not responding.
When I've tried to get version 5.1 or 5.2, the Skype web page keeps taking me to the download area for 5.3.

What is the latest accessible version of Skype and where can I find it?
