[gui-talk] will Webvisum be rendered useless?

The most innovative CAPTCHA solution I ever used was from the US
Postal Service several years ago when I changed my mailing address. I
don't remember if there was an audio CAPTCHA. However, when I clicked
the link for the alternative, I was asked to fill in my email address.
Then, on the next page there was an edit box for me to paste in the
code that was emailed to me. Once I pasted in the code and hit submit,
the completed form went through. There are probably ways around even
this, but it would be hard to do since you'd need to have someone's
email address and password to retrieve the code to be put into the
edit box. That method gets my vote for an accessible design and fairly
secure and reliable CAPTCHA alternative.

And if I could ensure that someone would be on the other side of the
VizWiz IOS app by paying money, I just might do that. I don't know if
I'd pay $85 per year, but if you presented a good app like VizWiz that
was accessible and easy to use, and priced it reasonably, then I'd be
interested and maybe even bite. However, the point that any system
with human interaction/solving is not a good system and not full proof
is pretty much spot on. still, better than having to call an 800
number during the day and waiting for someone to call you back to
complete a form, :)
