[gui-talk] VIPER Premium Antivirus from Sunbelt Software

Hi Mike,

I've been using Vipre Premium for about a year. I have it set to do a full
scan every night, the default setting, as well as performing virus updates
which occur about three times per day. I bought a 3 year license for $89
which included the software, but I understand they are looking into a
lifetime license for one price, currently in a test phase. What I like
about this product is that the Premium version also has firewall built into
it, and my system continues to run quickly as everything is performed in the
background. Also, support is free via an 800 number. And to be honest,
it's nice to talk to someone who speaks English as well as I do when I've
called for support. One does need to use the review cursor of one's screen
reader, but other than that, I've seen no accessibility issues. Hope this
helps.

Les

Subject: [gui-talk] VIPER Premium Antivirus from Sunbelt Software

Greetings.

I was speaking with a gentleman from System Access this morning and he
recommended an antivirus program called Viper Premium from an outfit known
as "Sunbelt Software". He said the program is quite accessible.

My question is this: I'm using Kaspersky now and although it is inaccessible
without much experimentation and use of the mouse cursor, it appears to be
doing an excellent job of zapping viruses and other malware. Accessibility
concerns aside, have any of you seen reviews comparing Kaspersky and Viper
Premium? Which came out better? And have any of you actually used
Viper Premium? What have been your experiences?

Thanks in advance.
