Yes, System Access works fine with Windows-7. However, I suspect that the problem may well be your relative unfamiliarity with Windows 7 rather than with JAWS. To be sure, occasionally Windows 7 hangs for thirty seconds or so but, contrary to the experiences of some, I've encountered these hang-ups with both System Access and NVDA. What version of JAWS are you using?

As an aside, my objection to System Access is one some others might see as an advantage: an application is left in your system tray in addition to the screen-reader itself which monitors your system, updates the screen-reader automatically and provides convenient access to other System Access services such as SAMnet. Thanks but no thanks. I want changes made if and only if I say so. (Windows Update is an exception but even it is irritating).
