Hi. All you need to do is to slow down your speech rate a bit. Usually,
below 90 seems to work. Sixty or seventy would probably be better.

Hmmm ... haven't encountered the problem with "E" not speaking its value but
only the International Phonetic Alphabet representation, i.e., "Echo".

I have seen occasions, however, when the "from" and address in an email is
audible when doing a two-finger flick-up, i.e., "say screen from the top"
but isn't visible when running one's finger down the left margin to read
line-by-line. Hitting the time to bring the display to the top sometimes
helps but not always.

On the other hand, it appears that the problem while reading the iPhone
on-line user manual wherein a "say all" enunciates the "VoiceOver users
click here" link but one can never find where to click has been fixed.

Wonder if there's a feedback address to get more-or-directly to iOS
developers?
