[gui-talk] Goggle madness

I've been reading about the new offering instant search method from Google,
but I didn't know some sinister change was going to happen to me without my
doing anything at all

I use Google as my home page in IE8. As everyone will know, if I'm not
really about to undertake a search, I just put up my favorites bar, use
control o or Alt 4 to get into my address bar and type a destination's URL,
and so forth.

And if I really do want to Google something, I stay where Jaws 11 has
deposited me, in the search term edit box, make sure I'm in Forms Mode, type
a search phrase, tab once and then click on Search or whatever the submit
button comes up calling itself that time. But now, I enter a search term,
then tab, and all I find is something like change background, or this, or
that, and I can tab my heart out and don't come to Search.

I confess that, earlier, I did what it said when it said 'screen reader
users click here to turn off adv advanced browsing,' not even sure what
they meant by that but flattered to have been addressed, and maybe that's
where my trouble started.

But then I also confess that if I do something like exited IE, relaunch it
from my Desktop, and then try Goggle again, it acts normal.

What on earth is going on, and what am I to do so that things become normal
again?

Help!
