Hi Joel -- when I'm on a laptop, I sometimes get whisked away to the desktop
because of my sleeve brushing against the mouse pad below the keyboard.
There's nothing I can do except try to keep my arms away from that area and
alt+taab back into my app.  Sorry I'm not much help. It only happens on
laptops and I have never seen it on a desktop, so I assume I am right that
it is that mouse pad on the laptop.

I'm using a laptop Win XP  Home. It's begun to skip from one program to
another, usually while I'm typing in Worde or OE, but not exclusively. Three
times, already, I've a  heard a  bing! and had to alt tab back into this
message. Where have I  been taken? To the inbox, to the desktop, to
customize Word.

Any helpappreciated.
