[gui-talk] How to make headers in a Word 2000 document?

Thanks to all who responded. Nonetheless, I marvel at the comp;lexities 
offered. Here's what I mean by headers. Jaws groups them as headers and 
footers.

A simple multi page document. No sections and sub sections. Just plain type, 
paragraph after paragraph, like a Community College English essay.

At the top right corner, in the margin area of each page, it says:

Deutsch--24

except it might be another number, of course.  And you might not want any 
such thing to appear on the first sheet, but begin on the next one.

I used to enjoy usable sight and do such things in Word all the time. But 
I've forgotten the hotikey commands that can bring up the header/footer 
window, let you tuypwhatever you want, right justified or whatever, add a 
special code mark indicating a new number as you go along, and then exit the 
process just as we use F4 most of the time. Same spirit.I think it was alt c 
for close? I don't know.



That's it. Early in my Jaws useage, I learned some tricks you can do from 
the keyboard after invoking header/footer from the View menu.

Now I hope that's more clear?

Again, nothing to do with master documents,headings and sub headings, and so
