Hi Cathy,

Thanks for the suggestion.  In the Jaws dialog, speechis enabled, and I went
through the settings, unloaded and reloaded Jaws, but still no speech in the
message list.  I'll contact Freedom Scientific later today when I can be at
the machine.

In JAWS 11, you can check out the "Customize Outlook Message List" options
and determine exactly what is read.  To access this feature,

1. Make sure you're focused in Outlook
2. Open the Run JAWS manager (JAWS KEY-F2) 3. Activate the "Customize
Outlook Message List" option

If something you'd like to speak says "Do Not Speak", activate the "Toggle
Speech" button to have JAWS read the column.  

I'm hoping that it's something simple within this dialog that can fix your
issue with JAWS reading the messages.
