[gui-talk] Need help updating Winamp

it's not that I have any use for most of the new features. Sorry to Winamp 
fans, but I don't keep a music library on a player and don't understand most 
of this except that it launches when I click on an .mp3 file of music or 
something else. So my question is elementary.

I tried to play a music track yesterday, and although it began playing, 
something about Winamp update got in the way so I couldn't control the 
player with my keyboard as usual. I clicked on Update Now and was taken to a 
download page of Winamp that I simply couldn't understand. Too complicated. 
In other words, I'd have updated to just get winamp to behave again, but I 
couldn't figure it out.

For my purposes I probably don't even need the update, although I don't 
mind. Where can I go to get  the one that will overwrite my current (free 
version) properly and let me go on with my life?

Anyway Can anyone help me, please?
