Patrick,

I think you have to do Alt, JL to get to the Layout tab that appears
when focus is inside a table, and then it's A to insert a row above the
current row, E to insert one below, L to insert a column to the left, R
for one to the right.

        Does anyone know the short cut keys to add a row into an
existing table within a Word '07 document?  To insert a table is
<alt>+N, T, but there doesn't appear to be an option within that
sub-group to add a row.
