[gui-talk] Audio from DVD's

Does anyone have a favorite program for extracting audio from a DVD that works reasonably well with a screen reader?  I thought that one of my audio editing programs 
that I have had this feature in it but none of them do.  Google yields quite a few possibilities, but it just isn't easy to know which ones are free of malware and such or can 
be used with a screen reader.  does anyone have experience with this?
