This week on Innovations we hear a bit from Vision Aid in the UK, we learn
about the history of television, and our main feature will be about NVDA,
and the new release. What is NVDA, a free and open source screen reader for
Windows. Does it rival the commercial solutions? Jamie Teh, one of the main
developers, gives us the inside scoop.
Innovations first airs on The Global voice on the web at
www.theglobalvoice.info
on Tuesdays at 17UTc, that's 1pm US Eastern, 10am US Pacific, and 6pm in
Central Europe.
There are also quite a few repeats throughout the week, and the program will
be available from our program gallery.
Innovations also airs on Radio for Life, at
radioforlife.net
on Wednesdays at 17UTC, that's currently 1pm US Eastern, and also on Sundays
at 7pm US Eastern.
We are also carried on
tapingfortheblind.org
on Fridays, at 4am and 4pm US Central time.
So join us for the only tech show from a blindness perspective worth
listening to, Innovations, a production of the Global Voice, the most
informative, entertaining, and interactive station on the internet.
Sincerely,
Naama Erez
Executive Producer
Innovations
